Application For Entrance Test
Applications can be downloaded from the University Website and The filled-in application must be sent to The Admissions Co-ordinator accompanied by two passport attested photographs, a crossed Indian Postal Order for Rs.750/- payable to the Registrar, PMU at Vallam Thanjavur and a self-addressed and 5/- Rs. stamped envelope.

Test Centres (Region wise)
In addition to the Centre at the Campus of PMU, test will be conducted in the following centres:

South: Chennai, Chengalpattu, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Hosur, Kancheepuram, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Nagapattinam, Nagerkoil, Namakkal, Neyveli, Paramakudi, Puducherry, Perambalur, Salem, Sivagangai, Sivakasi, Theni, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Tirupathur, Virudhachalam, Villupuram. Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Nellore, Vishakhapatnam, Bangalore, Cochin, Kottayam, Thiruvanandhapuram.

North: Jamshedpur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Lucknow, Gurgaon.

East: Agartala, Kolkata, Bhuvaneshwar. Bhagalpur, Patna.

West: Mumbai, Bhopal, Nagpur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.

(Note: More centres may be added and some may be dropped depending on the response).

The details of the actual centre for the test will be mentioned in the Hall Ticket, which will be sent to the individual candidate by post. Those who do not receive the Hall Tickets 7 days ahead of the test, can contact the Admissions Co-ordinator. Candidates appearing or have appeared for the qualifying examinations, and awaiting results can also apply.

Test Details:- Duration - 2 hour; Language - English; Type: Objective (As per Model Question paper available - Download Model Question Paper)

The candidates will be individually informed of their selection by post within10 days after the test.

Gender Equity: As per the policy of PMU, seats will be allotted on 50:50 basis for women and men candidates. However, if there are any vacancies in one category, the same will be filled from the other category.

All candidates for admissions to the above programmes must write PMU Entrance Test, execpt B.Arch.

Freeships and Scholarships are available for meritorious and deserving students.
